Still no picture after that? Call 0330 2238 210 and we’ll sort it.Hounslow, Heston, Isleworth and Brentford have been part of our engineers’ west London patch for years. A Hounslow customer in TW3 had a 55-inch TV mounted in September 2026 and called it “excellent service from start to finish”. Heston and Hounslow West are regular aerial calls.
Hounslow is the most overflown borough in London. A plane crossing between your aerial and Crystal Palace reflects the signal, and the reflection arrives a fraction late: on digital TV that shows as a picture that freezes or breaks up for a second or two as each plane passes. A properly aimed directional aerial with sound cable and connectors rejects most of it; a cheap wideband aerial or a tired coax lets it through. We test for it on the visit.
Hounslow borough has 29 conservation areas, from Spring Grove and St Stephen’s in Hounslow itself to Isleworth’s riverside, Heston Village, Hanworth Park and Cranford Village, and some carry Article 4 directions. In them an aerial or dish on a chimney, wall or roof slope facing the road needs planning permission. We pick a rear-slope or loft position so you stay within the rules.
The new blocks along the Great West Road and around Brentford’s waterside have communal aerials and dishes. Where one exists we connect you to it and run a clean feed to your flat; where it does not, the freeholder decides what goes on the roof, and we tell you that before quoting.

"Engineer seemed to do a thorough job - went up to roof on my block of flats to check communal aerial - not great apparently but changed coaxial cable in my flat which sorted it."

Joshua D. · TV wall mounting · October 2026The aircraft reflects the Crystal Palace signal and your TV receives the same picture twice, slightly out of step. A directional aerial pointed accurately, with good cable and connectors, clears it in most homes, and that’s what our engineer fits and tests on the visit.
